About Jordan

Jordan began his golf career at the age of 7 in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada and earned a full athletic scholarship to attend Eastern Michigan University. While at EMU, Jordan won medalist honors at several NCAA D1 events. He was a two year captain and was named Second Team ALL-MAC in 1994.

Jordan turned professional after college, qualifying to play on the PGA Tour – Canada. He spent three seasons traveling across Canada competing with professionals from around the globe. In the winter months, Jordan spent time in Florida, learning from the legendary great, Moe Norman.

In 1997, Jordan returned to Michigan, married (Kristin), and began work at some of the premier private clubs in SE Michigan; Walnut Creek CC, 97, Grosse Ile CC, 98-05 and Barton Hills CC, 2006. From these valued experiences, Jordan grew as an instructor, learning more about his teaching skills and his passion to help others. Promised I would update you. You are looking at the Michigan Am Super Senior Champion these past two days at Battle Creek CC. Monday’s 67 was my career low competitive round. Today, played pretty conservative with a 7 shot lead. Thanks for all your help!

Hi Jordan,
I just wanted to thank you for the session with my son last week. He really needed to hear what you had to say and he DID hear it, this time. Usually, when someone tries to “get tough” with him, he just gets defensive, but with you, it was different, he really listened. He has been a challenging kid to raise and has had his own challenges, fitting in, keeping friends, getting in trouble at school, etc. He has definitely been more cooperative, less oppositional and happier this week. I really appreciate you talking to him not only about golf, but about life. He is a kid that really needs mentors that can guide him down the right path. You are one of the very few that he has ever allowed penetrate that “hard head” of his. Thank you!

Just a quick note, I wanted to you to say thanks for all of the help over the past few years with my game. I just finished shooting 88 at Whistling straits which is something I never expected to be able to do.
Thank you again!

I wanted to say thank you for the past few years and helping me with my golf game and confidence. If it hadn’t been for my time in JTT, I do not think  I would have been on the golf team for the past two years, and I definitely would not be the golfer I am today. I have had an amazing time in your program, and I am sad to see my time come to an end. I will still be playing at Fox Hills whenever I can this summer, and I will try to stop by and visit sometime soon. If I ever take lessons again, I know I’ll be coming back to you. Thank you so much for being an amazing coach. I have learned so much that I know I will be able to apply to my golf game for the rest of my life.

Hey Jordan!
I won the season’s Men’s League the other night. I won my flight and then the “shootout” to win the whole thing! 144 guys in that league! I have been telling people that you got my game back on track. I made some big shots in some pressure situations during the shootout, BIG FUN! Thanks for all your help!

Hey Jordan!
Hey Jordan, you’re my vote for instructor of the year! You may recall one of my goals was to finally win a GAM Championship, well, look who’s on the home page of the GAM website. I am the CHAMP! Thanks for the help to achieve my goal!
